On-going Bottle Drives:
In cooperation with JD's Package and Redemption store in East Waterboro, you may contribute your bottle redemption money to the New Library fund. Simply tell the attendant that you want the funds to go to the Friends of the Waterboro Public Library envelope.
FOWPL is also working with CLYNK - Recycle bottles and cans and support the new library! Bags for FOWPL can be picked up at the library and at Waterboro Town Hall. Return your full bags to the CLYNK station at Hannaford's on Route 5 in E Waterboro.
Book Donations:
It is time for all of you to go through your book cases and donate useable books to this sale. Drop them off at the library during working hours (check the new, unfortunately reduced hours). NOTE: Academic books that you might consider unsuited at a local book sale and other quality books will be sold by Bill Dunn via e-bay. He has gotten $40 to $60 for some graduate level books.
If you are interested in making a pledge to the New Library Fund please contact Jack Seery at 247-6670.
